Families of Executed Political Prisoners Face Uncertainty

Although forty days have passed since the executions of Farzad Kamangar, Ali Heydariyan, Farhad Vakili, Shirin Alam-Hooli and Mehdi Eslamiyan family members are still uncertain of where their bodies have been buried. It is reported that security forces have stepped up pressure on the families of the five executed political prisoners.
According to Rooz, the Intelligence Ministry offices of Sanandaj and Kamyaran have called in the families on several occasions warning them not to do interviews with foreign media.

As a part of the traditional 40th day memorial services and at the request of the families, the people of Kurdistan of shut off their lights for five minutes in memory of the five political prisoners.
