Student prisoners sentenced to 6 years of prison

Arsalan Abadi, a constructional engineering student at Qazvin University who was sentenced to 9 and half years of prison by the 15th branch of the Revolutionary Court, was sentenced to six years of prison in a court of review. The six year prison sentence was issued by the 54th branch of the Revolutionary Court.
This student was arrested on Ashura (Dec. 27, 2010) and is currently in cellblock 350 in Evin Prison.
Abdi has been jailed for 210 days and according to reports, his sister and fiancé were detained for 30 days to put pressure on him.
